The Pickstock Group will open the doors to Saltwater Place in Plymouth, this September.
Saltwater Place is a 348 room, modular student accommodation scheme located in the heart of the city, and is a striking addition to the city’s modern architecture.
The scheme was developed and delivered drawing from all areas of The Pickstock Group’s expertise, from land acquisition and planning, to its in-house construction teams.
The scheme is spread across two buildings, the largest of the two at 13 storeys high is a modular building, delivered by the Group’s offsite building solutions company, Elements Europe.
Elements Europe manufactured, delivered and installed 349 Room Modules in total to the 13 storey block, as well as 60 Bathroom Pods to the smaller of the two blocks which stands at 10 storeys high and was built traditionally.
“The accommodation provides students with modern, comfortable accommodation in a fantastic location, it is a significant addition to the city’s student community and we look forward to welcoming them in September” commented Kate Pickstock, Development Surveyor at The Pickstock Group.
The Pickstock Group will now manage its asset with renowned student operator Homes for Students managing the site.
