This forthcoming development on Soho Road, Handsworth in Birmingham is a 2.2 acre site assembled by The Pickstock Group on the outskirts of Birmingham city centre and located within an opportunity area.

The site was assembled over a number of years by the Pickstock Group and currently consists of a number of disused buildings within an area of Birmingham undergoing significant regeneration just north of Birmingham City Centre and forming a principal gateway into the city.

Planning is currently being progressed for a residential led scheme that will provide circa 200 high quality apartments and ground floor retail that will offer a more affordable alternative to Birmingham City Centre whilst still being within easy access of the city through the existing rail and transport network.

The Pickstock Group will secure planning for the site and undertake the development with a number of exit routes being explored, including open market sale and Build to Rent.

We expect to secure planning for the site in the first half of 2023 and commence construction shortly after. The expected completion date on the development will be at the end of 2025.
