Kings Road

Kings Road Swansea is a development of 104 new apartments with 204m² of ground floor commercial space, as well as underground parking. Located in Swansea city centre overlooking the River Tawe, the site is in a prime location.

The development is in partnership with Beacon Cymru Group Ltd, a housing association formed by the merger of Coastal Housing and RHA Wales in January 2025. They aim to provide affordable homes, sustainable communities, and improved services across South Wales. Together, with help from Welsh Ministers we agreed the purchase of the site with the benefit of the required planning permission. We then negotiated a development agreement to manage the construction delivery through to completion, including all external, drainage, services and highway works.

In line with our Group’s commitment to sustainability, the scheme includes Solshare technology that allows a single rooftop solar system to provide clean, shared energy directly to multiple apartments in mulit-occupancy buildings, overcoming barriers that previously locked residents out of solar benefits. It works “behind the meter” by intelligently distributing solar power in real time to connected homes, ensuring fair allocation, reducing energy bills and cutting carbon footprints without requiring tenants to change energy suppliers or need complex wiring works.

This development highlights our ability to deliver a turn-key solution working closely with partners such as Beacon Cymru Group Ltd, we provide homes that are sustainable, efficient, and ready for occupancy. This project demonstrates how our end to end approach creates value for clients, residents, and the wider community, setting a benchmark for comprehensive, future ready developments.

Bill House, Soho Hill

A Pre-Planning Application has been submitted to Birmingham City Council, outlining exciting regeneration plans for the Bill House site on Soho Road, Handsworth.

This proposal follows early stakeholder engagement, numerous supporting surveys and planning use appraisals to inform the transformation of this derelict site into a vibrant, mixed-use community helping to reinvigorate the wider area.

The Bill House site has been affected by a series of large-scale blazes in recent years resulting in the buildings becoming derelict and unsuitable for occupation attracting anti-social behaviour.

This will be a comprehensive redevelopment of a brownfield site that is sensitive to the local characteristics, providing multi generation living aligned with the needs of the local community.

The scheme will provide a dynamic approach to different housing typologies, offering affordable housing, open market sale and lease options alongside a supporting care provision offer. The new scheme will create a sense of place that feels authentic, uplifting and contributing to the wider regeneration and delivery aspirations for the area.

The regeneration of the new Bill House development will present a much-improved streetscape, creating safer spaces offering a long-term positive impact for residents and visitors alike.
